I am so cold right now. my parents won't turn on the heat in my room, but they will turn it on in their room? Uh uh. I don't play that game. At least I made time to watch a movie, taken to be exact. Excellent movie, if I do say so myself! I went to open gym today, and ran into my ex-karate teacher! I was so worried that my mom would sign me up for karate again, thank goodness she didn't. Surprisingly, I saw my BFF for the first time in at least a month. Sometimes I wonder if we are ever going to move back to the town we always seemed to belong in, Greenfield. My whole life is there, and I can't believe we haven't already moved there. We had so many chances when we were buying this house, but we lost all of those houses and expanded our search area to here... This location sucks.
Lately, I have been very inspired to write a book about my whole horse life, and have decided that I shall write a book about my first horse. (If and when I get it) I just keep thinking on where I am going to keep it at. As mentioned earlier, I found a dreamy stable, but it is 35 minutes away. *Sigh* I am going to forget about it and just try to put $2000 in the bank this year.
My warm bed is calling to me, so
peace out!

Spring cleaning
Well, it's that time of the year again. Spring cleaning time to be exact. I am now sitting in a pile of stuff I haven't seen for ages. Maybe me having a closet wasn't such a good idea... But I am super glad that it is getting warmer. A while ago, I walked two dogs because it was so nice! I can't believe that summer is going to be here so soon. Hopefully, I will graduate on time. If I don't, then I am going to have to do school into May, which I REALLY don't want to. And my grandpa is visiting from California in a few weeks, and I won't be doing much school when he is here, because he only comes once a year for a month at a time. Here is what I have planned out for April:
Yesterday I found another potential boarding stable. It wasn't the prettiest of all places, but was much nicer than most! It had a:
Heated wash rack
A chute to hold a horse for when the vet or farrier comes out
14x16 stalls
Indoor riding arena
Outdoor riding arena
Round pen
Pastures
Each horse gets their own paddock
They provide hay, grain, and bedding
They feed, water, and clean stalls for you.
The property is very very well maintained
The stalls are cleaned several times a day
It is mare and gelding friendly (There were actually more mares than geldings from what I saw...)
They accept all ages of horses (I have seen stables that only accept a certain age range. Pretty odd.)
The stalls are matted
They have heated water buckets
But the thing is, it's by my trainers house, which means it's far. It's 30 minutes away, and I don't know if my mom is willing to drive me that far. If I went Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and some Sundays, that would be almost 5 days a week. 4 days a week would be perfectly fine to, and she already takes my to my trainers house 3-5 days a week anyways. I have ridden 5 days in a row as of yesterday, so I might get little buzz's like that sometimes. It just depends I guess... I'm just really scared that a few months after owning my horse, my mom will start saying no every time I ask her to take me to the barn, and I'll have to end up selling the horse. I do NOT want to lease my horse, and I plan on joining 4-h & pony club with it. I am certainly going to lease a horse at that barn first though, and see if I can really afford it and if my mom is really up to taking me 3-5 times a week.
I don't know why I am talking about it so much. After all, I'm not getting a horse for at least 2 more years, when I have the money & experience.
Peace out!

Ice Ice baby!
Though not unusual for my state, an unexpected ice storm has hit us. It is terrible! Winds, sleeting hail and ice, and it goes on until 10am. It sucks to own animals in Indiana, because you have to constantly worry about them, waking up every morning and hoping that last nights storm didn't freeze or flood them. But I still like living in Indiana. I had a really nice ride today, and even cantered my trainer's 17h ISH. I also rode Red bareback for 25 minutes, and cantered him as well. (I love to ride bareback, and cantering bareback is even better!) I just really hope that I will be ready for the show season this summer. If not, I think my trainer is going to be dissapointed, and that is the last thing in the world that I want.
I have adopted a really nice schedule, and I am loving it! School only lasts 3 and a half hours tops, practice piano for a little under 2 hours, and walk dogs for 2 hours each day. Oh, and speaking of walking dogs, my mom has decided to pay me $25 a week to walk four dogs for an hour each, every single day. I am so thrilled! And I am detailing the car for five bucks a week, so that totals to $120 each month, and add the money that I am getting from the puppy litters, whoa! A whopping $2100 this year! I am so happy right now! If I keep this up for another four years, then I will have my $5000 saved up, then I can buy my horse. But it all depends on what my riding status is then. I might not have my trainer for some unknown reason, or I might move closer to my trainer, and then I can ride everyday. It all depends on the riding status, and if my trainer thinks I am ready. I am in no rush at all! :)
Peace out!

Computer & Pinterest
I have news! (Don't worry, their all good.) Well, my personal computer has been down for months, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Turns out the outlet was shorted, so I plugged it in across the room and voila! It works! One of the happiest moments of my life. (Well, maybe...) I have an addiction, and it is called pinterest. I freaking love that site. I could stay on there all day, and not get bored. Hopefully I will get a piano lesson this week. With the new puppies and all, we have been super busy. Thankfully though, I have been able to ride. My trainer is back, and I had an amazing lesson today! I am so happy right now. Just happy happy happy!
School is good. I had a half day today because I had to go riding, and it is presidents day. I am getting really far into school, and I should graduate by the middle or end of April. I might stretch out into May, but it all depends on if I have extra work to do. Lately, I have been running a lot. Almost always sprinting, but I really need to be working on my endurance. I want to be able to run fast, for a long distance. I am naturally an endurance runner, but if I put my mind to it I can be a sprinter to. Just depends on how I am feeling really... Today I was so excited to be able to get out and run, I just ran fast and hard, and even practiced jumping some bushes and pretending that they were hurdles. I wish I could do hurdle racing, but I don't have time for any more extra curricular activities. That's okay though! Because I am very content with my life, and I have been ever since the beginning of 2012. :)

Busy
I've been busy lately, so it's nice to be able to sit down and just type for a while. (That's your que to run if you don't like reading long posts). I got the chance to watch the Grammy's, and it was great! But Rihanna's performance, "Stay", was speechless. It was beautiful in every was possible. Taylor Swift was my 2nd favorite, and Ed Sheran with Elton John was also pretty neat because I am a huge Elton John fan. So glad I got to catch those parts of the Grammy's! My trainer is on vacation, so I haven't been riding for a few days. I will probably ride tomorrow, but two of our dogs had puppies, so I might not be able to make it. I am questioning whether or not I am really ready to show in a few months. I mean, if my trainer doesn't think that I am ready, then I won't do it. Because I really just want to make her proud. She is my whole world, and more than anything, I just want to make her proud of me. I just don't know how...
I opened up a new RPG that is going to be freaking epic! Someone is crushing on my character, and I prefer that they wouldn't, but hey, I'll get it figured out. I have been crazy with the piano covers lately! Okay, fine. I admit that I only did one. But I am getting ready to crank out Someone like you by Adele and Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin. Look out for new ones!
Peace out!

She's my kind of rain
All right, so I have to admit. I am a huge Tim McGraw fan. I really hope to do a solo of his song, "My kind of rain" on piano. I think it is a beautiful song, and many people (both men, and women) can relate to it. I know I can, for sure! :) Two of our (Hoosier doodles) females are going to have puppies within the week, so be prepared for a cuteness attack! They are Labradoodles, and Goldendoodles. And let me tell you, they are adorable when they are born! They are so tiny that they just fit in the palm of your hand, and they squeal like little piglets. Oh it's just deadly adorable. <3
I went riding yesterday, and it went pretty well. I found out that I am doing a lesson with a trainer that is a really good dressage and hunter jumper trainer. Exciting! We'll see how that goes though... I am kind of nervous to tell you the truth!

New camera
Today, I took my new camera (the one I got for Christmas) for a spin. It really works great, and I am super happy with it! One thing though, it SUCKS in the cold. I didn't take any winter pictures outside this year at all, because it can't handle anything below 40 degrees. But in the summer, it should work amazingly. Oh well, we'll see how it all goes. I went riding today, and rode all over the place. Jumped like, twice, and did some dressage work. I really need to work on my jumping, and on my dressage. But I am more concerned about my jumping. :(
Peace out!
